In short: your text stays on your device. We count anonymous visits and button clicks, with no cookies and no IP address or text stored. The only other thing we ever receive is what you type into the optional feedback form, after you confirm your email.
What stays in your browser
Everything that touches your post, including Unicode bold and italic, Markdown cleanup, spacing, hashtags and the live preview, runs locally in your browser's JavaScript engine. Your draft is never sent to a server and is not saved anywhere: close or refresh the tab and it is gone.
The only things remembered on your device are your light or dark theme choice, whether you have seen the guided tour, and a flag that lets returning visitors skip the home page. Nothing identifies you.
What we do collect
Anonymous visit counts
So we know whether the tool is useful, we count page views and clicks on main buttons (for example "Copy for LinkedIn"). Only the event name, the page, your country, device type and the referring website's name are recorded.
How the counting is private
No cookies. No IP address, browser details or text are stored. A visitor is represented by a one-way code that changes every day, so a person cannot be followed over time. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
The feedback form
Optional. If you send feedback we receive your name, email, optional company and message. We email you a one-time code first to confirm the address is yours, and keep the message so we can reply.
Spam protection
The feedback form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It loads only on the feedback page and is not used anywhere else.
What we never do
- Read, store or analyse the posts you format.
- Use advertising trackers, pixels or third-party analytics.
- Create accounts or ask you to sign in.
- Sell or share your details.
- Call any AI service with your text.
Safe for confidential drafts
Because formatting is local, it is suitable for founders, architects, consultants and teams working on client announcements, case studies and other drafts they would rather not paste into an online service. Fonts are self-hosted, so loading the page makes no requests to third-party font services.
Your choices
Turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser and the visit counting is skipped entirely. To have a feedback message removed, contact us from the same email address and we will delete it.
